If you want to know anything about me, you have to know the heart of my master. The most important thing in my life is my Lord, Jesus. I am a Christian: I identify with Christ, and not the things of this world. I believe the Bible: every word in it. I believe the person of Jesus Messiah is living, holy God, and I live for Him. I know that He came to earth as a man, lived my life with my sorrows, my happiness, my love, and my hate, and that He died to save me, a sinner so that I could be free of sin and live as He lives in His eternal presence. This is my statement of faith - my declaration of belief and service. I believe in an invisible God that is everywhere and in complete control everything in my life, both good and bad. Trusting and yielding to Him is the only way my life has purpose and meaning.
My life has been fairly average: containing it's own series of ups and downs. It's been a jungle, struggling to thrive within the divorce of my parents, getting through school, and discovering myself. I'm a homemaker, author, and ministry leader among other things, currently working on my first published book. I am average; good at getting messy; but as I enter the world on my own, I want to be more than just an average girl. I want to be something increasingly rare: a lady. I strive daily to be a person that others can respect, beautiful on the inside so I can show it on the outside. I want to be beautiful, honest, respectable, kind, loving, and generous. I want to be prepared to participate in the future I desire; deserving to be: a dutiful daughter, a caring and supportive wife, and wise mother.
This blog is represents my heart, as a place where I open my heart in the hope that it may be of some benefit to you. If I can touch the lives of just a few in some small way, then my purpose and desire for this blog will have been satisfied.
